Subject: B-Utils/0.05_02: Missing licensing information
Date: Thu, 6 Mar 2008 13:08:32 +0200
To: bug-B-Utils [...] rt.cpan.org
From: Damyan Ivanov <dmn [...] debian.org>
Hi, While preparing the debian packages of B-Utils 0.05_02, I've found that the licensing information has disappeared. Previously, 0.05 had AL & GPL. You know the score. which, although far from ideal, gives some clues. 0.05_02 has no informaion about licensing, making it impossible to do anything with it (legally). I think the ommission of the licensing information was an overlook. If this is so, could you please put it back? Preferably something a bit more verbose like: This module is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the same terms as Perl itself. How's that? It's AL | GPL, not &. But let's not get into that... Show quoted text

With Joshua's permissions, I have made myself co-maintainer of the module and added the license statement (same as terms as perl) back to the documentation along with a few nits here and there. This will be 0.05_03. Best regards, Steffen
This issue has been resolved in B::Utils 0.05_03. I didn't have the RT permissions to close tickets at the time, though.
