Thanks for taking the time for this. I need to redesign the tests. I would prefer that I only used the cmd.exe which was running the testing, but there is no way (in Windows) to find a process's parent (getppid is not implemented, and cannot be).

Dear Clive,
As you can see from my report 1039074 of the cpan-testers, in case of
the installation using CPAN.pm, the count of pids of GetPids in
Win32-EnvProcess.t must be 3. That is, Dos, test itself, and CPAN.
