Subject: Bug report - ver 5.70 (can't get into damned Bitcard account to use Web interface, sigh)
Date: Wed, 13 Feb 2008 17:21:14 -0500
To: bug-Catalyst-Runtime [...] rt.cpan.org
From: Dave Baker <davebaker [...] benefitslink.com>
The HTML page created by script/myapp_server.pl (when a MyApp application is created using 'catalyst.pl MyApp') begins with: "If you want to jump right into web development with Catalyst you might want want to start with a tutorial. perldoc Catalyst::Manual::Tutorial" ... but running 'perldoc Catalyst::Manual::Tutorial' fails ("No documentation found for Catalyst::Manual::Tutorial"). Probable cause: Catalyst::Manual::Tutorial is not installed as part of Catalyst::Runtime. Proposed fix: Include Catalyst::Manual::Tutorial with next version of Catalyst::Runtime. P.S. - It's a terrific HTML page; one tiny grammar issue, though: "you might want want to start" should read "you might want to start". Thanks, Dave Baker
Subject: Catalyst::Manual::Tutorial dependency / grammar fix
Grammar fix in as revision 7711 in svn. Catalyst::Manual::Tutorial will never be part of the Runtime distribution. On the catalyst-dev mailing list, there are ongoing discussions as to how the manual and tutorial should be distributed (one idea is to add them as dependencies to Catalyst::Devel). Please feel free to join in and contribute.
