The bundle dowloaded to a Windows XP environment without any obvious hitch, but under Linux (Mandriva) it appears to retreat into a recursive dependency hell. What's the most useful debugging information in this context? -- Email and shopping with the feelgood factor! 55% of income to good causes. http://www.ippimail.com

Maybe, if you describe your methodology of installing I can spot a problem in that. Note: I'm not the author of Bundle::Parrot::Smoke.

As an ordinary user, in my parrot directory: perl -MCPAN -e "install Bundle::Parrot::Smoke" -- Email and shopping with the feelgood factor! 55% of income to good causes. http://www.ippimail.com
