Subject: wish: clarify what a microarray is.
Wikipedia has several different definitions for what a microarray is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microarray It would be great if one of the first thing the documentation did was to define what a microarray is, at least for the purpose of this module. Most Perl programmers will think it would be "like a Perl array...only smaller". You seem to have mind something rather different, and very specific. Mark

Thanks for those comments. I've now updated the perldoc to better explain what DNA microarrays are all about.

Thanks for your comments. The module is all about working with these; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DNA_microarray I'll update the documentation before the next release, and add a line of text including the wiki link to make it clear just exactly what the modules do - and hopefully prevent any curious Perl developers waste time trying to make really tiny arrays!
