Please delete this ticket. I am an idiot. Now after reading
Regexp::Common::URI pod twice i understand:
*Regexp::Common::URI::scheme*
'scheme' is a placeholder. I puzzled because i did an exact 'perldoc
Regexp::Common::URI::scheme' in the shell and wondered that there is
no manual page.
But let me suggest a more foolproof sentence like
"Each is documented in its *Regexp::Common::URI::<scheme>* manual
page, where <scheme> is one of fax, file, ftp, gopher, http, news (for
NTTP), tel, telnet, tv or wais.
Original was:
"Patterns for the following URIs are supported: fax, file, FTP, gopher,
HTTP, news, NTTP, tel, telnet, tv and WAIS. Each is documented in the
*Regexp::Common::URI::scheme*, manual page, for the appropriate scheme
(in lowercase), except for *NNTP* URIs which are found in
*Regexp::Common::URI::news*."
Greetings,
