Subject: | Markdown block formatting has bugs! |
The Catalyst guys are using Markdown for their not trac site. I have
bugs I need to fix.
<jshirley> Markdown formatting isn't processed inside of block level
elements.
<jshirley> so the div boxes on the front page aren't rendered right
<t0m> jshirley - Which block level elements? Markdown generally gets
turned off if you
start using HTML..
<t0m> (for that block)
<jshirley> t0m: our front page "widgets" are enclosed in divs.
<jshirley> I discovered that if you put a space in front of the div it
renders out ok
though
<t0m> ouch. That's kinda nasty.
<t0m> Can you be dropping me a bug in RT?
<t0m> I should probably be making the behavior configurable / not needed
to be hacked.
<jshirley> t0m: well, let me send a nopaste of the content real fast...
you can
register on the wiki and play with thi spage, too.
<shadowpaste> "jshirley" at 217.168.144.84 pasted "t0m" (44 lines) at

<t0m> that works for me :)
<jshirley> If I don't put the spaces there the markdown formatting isn't
triggered,
with the space it is.
<jshirley> So, I can RT this up just want to know how to describe it :)
<t0m> I'm just gonna glob this stuff into an RT. :)
<t0m> I'll make a real test case later tonight when I've finished $ork
<jshirley> Ah, alright
