Subject: rmtree exits on error?
Date: Sat, 5 Jan 2008 16:51:22 -0800 (PST)
To: bug-File-Path [...] rt.cpan.org
From: Richard Hubbell <richard_hubbe11 [...] yahoo.com>
I see this error: No top-level directory specified to remove when rmtree can't find the directory it was given and then it causes the program to exit. Maybe I'm missing something, but this is really bad behavior. If rmtree can't find the directory, tough luck, why does it assume control of my program? Show quoted text

Cancel the previous bug report, well, since it's my mistake. Show quoted text

Not to worry. It was still good that you went to the effort of filing a report. It's the only way to make things better. If there is anything in the documentation that could be improved so that you could have understod the situation sooner, I'm open to suggestions. Thanks, David
