Subject: Can't untar with CPAN.pm
When trying to build Math::Systems using CPAN.pm, I get the following error: CPAN: Time::HiRes loaded ok (v1.9708) x Math-Systems-0.01/. tar: Skipping pathname containing .. x Math-Systems-0.01/Makefile.PL x Math-Systems-0.01/MANIFEST x Math-Systems-0.01/README x Math-Systems-0.01/Systems.pm x Math-Systems-0.01/test.pl Uncompressed /usr/local/src/CPAN/sources/authors/id/W/WI/WILL/Math-Systems-0.01.tar.gz successfully Using Tar:/usr/bin/tar xvf "Math-Systems-0.01.tar": x Math-Systems-0.01/. tar: Skipping pathname containing .. x Math-Systems-0.01/Makefile.PL x Math-Systems-0.01/MANIFEST x Math-Systems-0.01/README x Math-Systems-0.01/Systems.pm x Math-Systems-0.01/test.pl Couldn't untar Math-Systems-0.01.tar It seems that ".." is part of the tarball, and this is causing an error when extracting on a FreeBSD-6.2 system.
