Subject: Status info should be written to disk instead of stored in memory
When run for several days in a row, WWW::FriendAdder can start taking up large amounts of memory (currently showing 45MB real memory, 625MB virtual memory used). I believe this is also causing the system to be extremely slow in returning from screen lock on a MacBook Pro (after a few days, I have to close the macbook pro to put it to sleep, then open it again to be prompted for a password).. Also, if the process is interrupted for any reason (crash, ctrl-c, etc), the final report will never print. If this information were stored on disk in a temporary file, then read when finished, it would allow the script to be stopped and started, and would prevent memory hogging. Just storing this idea here since I don't have time to look at it right now.
