Hello Mr. Horrocks,
Attached is a new version of PersistentPerl that applies the patches in rt 6887 and rt 16419.
I've installed it successfully on:
Linux 32 bit
Linux 64 bit
FreeBSD 32 bit
FreeBSD 64 bit
OSX Intel
OSX PPC
If you could upload it to CPAN for us to use that'd be great! Additionallly I'd be happy to be
co-maintainer and upload it myself if you wish.
Remaining issues I'd be happy to address if you wish:
If /tmp mounted 'noexec' make test fails, should probably use ~/tmp
t/sh_bang.............Can't exec "/tmp/sh_bang.66087": Permission denied at t/sh_bang.t line
20.
Other places woudl need /tmp changed to ~/tmp as well.
Just let me know how you'd like me to proceed...
