See bug 49971 which is the real cause of the wrong link on search.cpan.org. Note that no Win32::Service is currently available on CPAN. An old version is on backpan but newer releases were only available at roth.net. Latest version available (20080324) is only available in binary form on ftp.roth.net. I have not been able to reach Dave Roth by e-mail for updates, so reliance on Win32::Daemon would be adventurous. -- Olivier Mengué - http://o.mengue.free.fr/
