When installing amavisd-new I had this error. Can't locate object method "binmode" via package "IO::File" at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.6/MIME/Body.pm line 437 In Function open (open READWRITE) we have : $IO->binmode() if $self->binmode; FreeBSD 6.2 perl-5.8.6_2 (v5.8.6 built for i386-freebsd-64int) p5-File-Temp-0.18 p5-IO-stringy-2.110 p5-MIME-Tools-5.423 As a Workaround I downgraded to p5-MIME-Tools-5.420.

Can you provide a simple test case that triggers this? I'm not terribly interested in installing all of amavisd-new to try and replicate. Dave
