Apologies if this is a duplicate issue.
I have recently started using SVK on Ubuntu and Mac OS X (it would also
be good to use it on Solaris, could someone get SVK packaged on
Sunfreeware?)
SVK (v2.0.1) appears to work fine on Ubuntu. However on Mac OS X
(v2.0.2) I have a real problem cause by the automounting system. My
depot is in ~/.svk but because of the Mac OS X automounting system I get
errors such as:
|> pwd
/home/Checkouts/SVK/Gant/local
|> svk status
path /private/var/automount/home/Checkouts/SVK/Gant/local is not a
checkout path.
The depot was created using Ubuntu using the path as shown which is the
same path as mounted on all the Ubuntu and Solaris machines sharing the
NFS mounted filestore. Mac OS X however uses automount and hence the
path conflicts as shown.
