Subject: back method does not indicate failure
Date: Fri, 9 Nov 2007 17:41:41 +0000
To: bug-WWW-Mechanize [...] rt.cpan.org
From: Dave Page <grimoire [...] cultofperf.org.uk>
Using WWW::Mechanize 1.2.0 on SuSE Linux 9.1, on perl 5.8.3 - I've checked the source for WWW::Mechanize 1.3.2 and my issue is still present there. The _pop_page_stack() method, and hence back(), in WWW::Mechanize does not indicate when it has failed to go back (i.e. because you are at the first page requested). I think this is an oversight, and is simple to fix. Please see the attached patch and test program. Otherwise, thanks for a great and useful module!
