Hello, Using ActiveState Perl build 806 with all modules up to date, I'm getting this make test warning on RedHat Linux 9: t/sip............Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at /export/home1/apache/orcablue/intranet_html/code/perl/cpan/build/URI-1.24/blib/lib/URI/sip.pm line 30. Same here with perl-5.8.0 (ithreads, shared libperl) on Solaris 7, Sparc (talking about URI-1.24). -Marek [BZAJAC - Fri Jul 25 14:13:38 2003]: Show quoted text

I think this might be an Unicode bug in perl-5.8.0. I don't see this error on my Redhat 9.0 box, but I have turned off UTF-8 in /etc/sysconfig/i18n.

Hmm, odd. My i18n looks like this: % cat /etc/sysconfig/i18n LANG="en_US" SUPPORTED="en_US.UTF-8:en_US:en" SYSFONT="latarcyrheb-sun16" and I get these warnings. I also tried % env LANG=c make test and I still get the same warnings. Removing LANG, SUPPORTED and SYSFONT from the environment didn't remove the warnings either.
