I'm calling prompt() with the 'm' usage and setting a multiple column
display with 'cols => 3'. This looks fine until I add a "highlighting
escape sequence" to one of the menu items, e.g., an underline:
"\e[4mMenu Item\e[0m". This throws the column alignment off.
I'm running Perl 5.8.8 on SunOS 5.8.
