Subject: Documentation for EXTRA_META is missing
The subject says it all. Maybe it should also be considered to use a hash fragment as EXTRA_META value rather than a string. And maybe in such a case a real YAML emitter like YAML or YAML::Syck should be used. Regards, Slaven

It's not documented because I don't like how EXTRA_META works. I'd prefer to do something like Module::Build's meta_merge and meta_add. -- There will be snacks.

EXTRA_META isn't going to get documented and I'm rewriting the meta API now. So closing this out.
