See, the description contains HTML -- anchors and suchlike. For a while
I was just embedding XHTML inside the <description> field (using the
proper XHTML namespace). But that's not really valid RSS.
So now I skip the <description> altogether and use the (well-documented)
"content" extension, which lets you embed HTML content and attach it to
an RSS entry. That's closer to what's actually going on here.
The RSS validators I can find seem to think it's OK. For example:
