Attempting to load the All_fips55.txt < http://geonames.usgs.gov/docs/fips55/All_fips55.zip> obtained from the USGS here <http://geonames.usgs.gov/domestic/download_data.htm> silently fails. I suspect this is related to a change in the format of the data, as my FIPS file from a couple years back (last time I did this) is not in the same format (now tab-delimited).
