Subject: New dialect for JSPWiki

From: Stephen Brandon <stephen.brandon [...] ict.om.org>
Hi David (I assume it's you...), We've recently set up JSPWiki in our organisation, and some of our users found the great converter at http://diberri.dyndns.org/ wikipedia/html2wiki/index.html and have been trying to use it. Unfortunately, it didn't have a dialect for JSPWiki. The closest one for us was SnipSnap, but it required some extra work after the conversion. So I just modified the SnipSnap dialect to get it to write good JSPWiki syntax. We would absolutely LOVE to be able to use this new dialect on your website. Is there any chance that you could add this module to CPAN, and also have it running on your site? The changes were fairly straight forward, and I have put in tests for the changes and new functionality. Main changes: - added image support - added blockquote support - fixed hyperlinks - fixed ordered and unordered lists - fixed tables There could be some bugs but I hope not! In any case, once we can use the converter live we'll soon see more things that could be tweaked, and can send in bugfixes. Hope you can add this to your site... I received the HTML::WikiConverter:JSPWiki dialect module via email and have installed it for use via the web interface at [http://diberri.dyndns.org/wikipedia/html2wiki/index.html?dialect=JSPWiki]. I have recommended via email and on my Wikipedia talk page that the module be uploaded and released to the Perl community via CPAN. -- Dave
