I just used Imager to convert 8000+ .bmp files to .rgb.
It worked like a charm. Thanks for all your work.
One thing though. In the Description section of the
documentation of Imager::Files
(http://search.cpan.org/~tonyc/Imager-0.60/lib/Imager/Files.pod)
there is a list of values for the type parameter of the read
and write method. I've copied the list below and attached
a screen shot. The rbg type did not work. I had to use
sgi instead.
bmp Windows BitMaP (BMP)
gif Graphics Interchange Format (GIF)
jpeg JPEG/JFIF
png Portable Network Graphics (PNG)
pnm Portable aNyMap (PNM)
raw Raw
rgb SGI .rgb files
tga TARGA
tiff Tagged Image File Format (TIFF)
