Thanks Steve,
I'm in the middle of fixing this but I've run into a snag. It seems that when
someone downloads the latest Scalar::Util they still get the old one because
the new one gets installed in site_perl. Did this happen to you? Looking at
perl -V, it seems to me that the search order is backwards, surely
/usr/lib/perl/site_perl should be checked _before_ /usr/lib/perl otherwise
how can you upgrade core modules (without using obscure switched on
Makefile.PL)

Show quoted textuses the refaddr() function, which was only added to Scalar::Util in v1.09.
This breaks out-of-the-box CPAN installs.
