Subject: Please update it for Apache2/mod_perl2
Date: Wed, 5 Sep 2007 09:27:31 +0200

Hello! Distribution: Apache-Stage-1.20 Perl: 5.8.8 OS: Linux 2.6.21-2-powerpc I tried to contact you before, but just was told by domm about the official way to report such issues. Maybe I got a not-used email address yet again, I don't know... Anyway, the issue is still there: I like Apache::Stage but can't use it anymore since apache1 and mod_perl1 are out of their life time, at least within Debian, and my tries to update it ot Apache2 with mod_perl2 weren't successful. The change from using Apache::Constants to Apache2::Const was an easy part, but that's not the full thing that's needed, because it now returns html files as text/plain and still gives status code 404. It would be nice if you could take a look into it, thanks. Rhonda

Sorry, it may be my fault, I sometimes do lose track over piled emails. That's one reason why RT is better than mail. Thanks for your ticket. Show quoted text

I'd love to but unfortunately I have not yet much experience with apache2. I'm delaying its deployment and delaying it again and again. And given that I fear I can't solve the problem you're seeing. I'd welcome if somebody could take over the module and/or make an Apache2 version of it. -- andreas
