Tony,
I've been tweaking on an enhancement to the
Spreadsheet::WriteExcel::FromDB that's really, in part, support for
Spreadsheet::WriteExcel::FromDB::query, allowing for placeholders.
Due to the way FromDB::Query is written, my changes were best done in
your module, as I basically added the params as an option argument to
the read method, and made a change to the _xls method to allow for the
params to come in.
I'm curious if you'd like me to send you a diff of the changes, for
possible incorporation? Thanks for your time,
