Subject: make fails under Mac OS X 10.4.10
Date: Sun, 05 Aug 2007 10:14:54 +0200
To: <bug-SAS-Parser [...] rt.cpan.org>
From: Jörg Beyer <Beyerj [...] students.uni-marburg.de>
SAS::Parser 0.93 fails to install under Mac OS X 10.4.10 (G4/400, PowerPC). 'Make' aborts with error 64. Additional information (incl. system specs etc.) attached, encoding is UTF-8. Also, it looks a bit error-prone to include precompiled binaries in the module, but that may be my amateurish view. Thanks. P.S.: I would REALLY appreciate to work with this module under OS X, so if you find the time...

There are no binaries; just sample scripts as demos of SAS-Parser. I'll look at this when I have time, but it was quite a long time since I did this and haven't looked at it since. -Michael Beyerj@students.uni-marburg.de via RT wrote: Show quoted text

I fixed the build on my Mac so that I can install manually. It looks like an issue with the Makefile created by Makefile.PL perl Makefile.PL edit Makefile line 453: change to : $(CP) -R bin/* $(INST_SCRIPT)/. make make install
