Hi, Looking at you Module's source, I could'nt find any proper copyright notice. I'm maintaining the Quota module at Debian, and this uncleareanse about the copyright is concidering as a critical bug. Thanks in advance for your help Cheers -- Rene Mauricio Mayorga | GPG: A209C305 http://rmayorga.org | -------------------------------------------------- 08B6 58AB A691 DD56 C30B 8D37 8040 19FA A209 C305

Hi Rene, Sorry for the response time. For some reason CPAN sends bug notification to my public mail address which is of course just a SPAM trap. Show quoted text

Could you please define "proper"? I've added a few more license and copyright notices in the new 1.5.2 release - will these suffice? bye, -tom

Well, I think there is still more to be desired :( afsquota.c, introduced in version 1.60 contains only copyright statement and no license. In its current form any modification of it is prohibited, as well as any "usage", "distribution" etc. Quick short-term solution for Debian packages could be to drop this file from the distribution (as already done for vxquotactl.c). -- dam

My fault. I should have written "author" instead of copyright. This code was submitted specifically for inclusion into the Quota module which was in the public domain at the time. Actually, after reviewing my email archives, I even may have written the initial version of this file myself. (It's really hard to figure this out more than 9 years later.) I'll change the header in the next release. -tom
