Subject: | new failure mode: Couldn't get tarball for perl ... |
Salve Michael,
For quite a while my smoke runs have not seen a successful test of
CPAN::Unwind. Something broke and I have no idea what it might be.
Most tests fail with
t/001Basic....ok 2/0Couldn't get tarball for perl from CPAN at

Very many fail with
t/001Basic....
# Failed test 'use CPAN::Unwind;'
# at t/001Basic.t line 10.
# Tried to use 'CPAN::Unwind'.
# Error: Can't locate Algorithm/Dependency/Ordered.pm in @INC
which is obvious what it says. Same thing happens for
Module/Depends/Intrusive.pm. These indicate that some dependencies were
temporarily broken in my smoke environment and we can ignore them.
Even perl versions for which I have success reports in my database now
fail. Some dependency broke, do you hae an idea what it was? Or
suggestions what I should try in case you cannot reproduce?
Thanks,
