Subject: Should allow anonymous use without login
Surprisingly, RT::Client::REST requires authentication, even when public rt sites like rt.cpan.org don't. E.g.: http://rt.cpan.org/REST/1.0/ticket/26873 It would be a nice feature if there were an option to use RT::Client::REST without authentication if the rt site doesn't require it.

I believe this is incorrect -- try resetting your cookies and trying that again (or wget it). You will get redirected. Show quoted text

I, too, believe that it would, but this is something that the server-side of RT REST implementation does not support -- you must be authenticated. - Dmitri.

I've just discovered that as well. My apologies for bothering you.
Rejecting -- this is an erroneous report.
