Subject: Roundtrip fails with v1.0
Isn't this problematic? % /home/src/perl/repoperls/installed-perls/*/p*/perl-5.*@31614/bin/perl -Mversion -le 'print version->new(version->new("v1.0")->numify)->normal' v1.0.0 FYI, the module that alerted me on this problem was ANDYA/Set-IntSpan-Fast-v1.0.tar.gz Maybe this warrants a clarification in the documentation where a user may expect roundtrip and where not?

Yes, I'll improve the documentation for that case (being leading 'v' with only a single decimal operates like bare v-string). Improved documentation in 0.75 to state (basically) don't mess with the version objects and you'll be alright. ;-) John
