Subject: Bad installation path
I've tried to compile Strawberry Perl with Perl::Dist::Strawberry. It did not modified 'makefile.mk' INST_TOP variable so it was installing into c:\perl (now I have fresh ActiveState Perl). 'makefile.mk' is not read-only. perl 5.8.[89] patch 31223 -- Alexandr Ciornii, http://chorny.net
