Subject: Catalyst::Utils::class2tempdir permissions
Catalyst::Utils::class2tempdir seems to create temporary directories (in /tmp) as root, which upsets other things. Is there something I should have done that I've overlooked?

I have the same bug in Catalyst 5.7007 with Apache2 and mod_perl 2.0.3 on Rhel 4.

That's not a bug. The problem is you're creating a temp dir during startup before mod_perl has setuid'ed.
