I've read README, README.clients, README.win32 ...
and I'm still uncertain what I need to download (i'm on dialup).
I go to
http://otn.oracle.com/software/content.html
and that doesn't help clear it up either.
I run a repository Win32 perl-5.8.x ppm repository at
http://crazyinsomniac.perlmonk.org/perl/ppm/5.8/
ActiveState does not have ppm package of DBD-Oracle for 5.8.x.
which is why i'm attempting to compile it.
I've found references via google to
http://www.perlxml.net/ aka http://www.xmlproj.com/
which may or may not have had the ppm's of DBD-Oracle
while the domains were live.
I'd appreciate any info (which you should also stuff into a README)
or even a ppm for 5.8.x if you got one.
