Subject: Why perl 5.8.7?
The Makefile.PL specifies that the minimum Perl version if 5.8.7. Why? It doesn't look like the code is doing anything unusual that wouldn't work on an older version of Perl. I'm running the default Perl 5.8.6 that comes with Mac OS X 10.4, so the 5.8.7 dependency is causing CPAN.pm to fail to install this module. -- Chris

I doesn't require 5.8.7. That is the h2xs default at the time. I changed it to 5.5 and uploaded a new version - 0.02. Thanks!
