Subject: cant open tempfiles for commits ($Id 1.13)
SuSe Linux 8.1, Perl 5.6.1 Using -da / -d forces activitymail to produce ######## activitymail error: Cannot open '/tmp/#cvs.lastdir.13966' who is writing the tempfiles ? activitymail (and how) or CVS ? /tmp/ is 777

activitymail is writing them. Are you using -l in the commitinfo file in conjunction with -da in loginfo? Also, use -D to enable debugging. HTH, David

i tried the -l in commitinfo and it didnt worked. But it may be, that due to "commit CVSROOT" the entry was not active when i tested. Currently i switched to cvslog/cvsprep, but i will try activitymail again on Monday, because the CVS is under heavy load for E3 GamesConvention preparation.

Not sure if it's related, but I had the same problem because I forgot to add the -g in loginfo when I had it in commitinfo
