I've been compiling DBI V 1.54 RC6 for Tim Bunce, and here's his reply
to a comment of mine:

Take a look at the lines. I think you'll find they're the
XS_VERSION_BOOTCHECK line. That's both added by perl and defined by perl.
I suggest you report it as a bug to the Strawberry Perl folk.
