This system is wrong. It should be avaliable on a request basis and not be default for all distributions. We have already experienced issues with cpan-testers where people do not like bug info being made publically avaliable with thier say so. Also may have thier own system for tracking/reporting. Please remove ALL of my distributions from this system. Or arrange for the Emails not to be sent to me and have the submiter know that. Graham. I've instructed rt.cpan.org to not send any more mail to you in your role as a module maintainer. In the next day or two, I'll add an additional autoresponse for your distributions which explains that you do not receive mail of bug reports submitted via rt.cpan.org and that they might want to try other channels to be in touch with you. Because of the nature and scope of the system, it is not trivial for me to add this autoresponse if you submit new distributions to the CPAN. If it's possible and you'd like the autoresponse added for any newly created distributions as you upload them to the CPAN, just drop me a note and I'd be happy to take care of it. Eh ? Thats dumb. My point is that this should be an opt-in system not an opt-out system. I would prefer if non of my distributions even appeard on the system. Graham.
