Subject: fails test on build - did libtidy interface change?
Date: Fri, 5 Jan 2007 16:50:04 -0600
To: <bug-html-tidy [...] rt.cpan.org>
From: "John Knott" <knott [...] royaltyshare.com>
I'm attempting to install HTML::Tidy on a redhat enterprise system, but it is failing the t/venus test. Here's the test output: t/venus..............ok 1/3 # Failed test (t/venus.t at line 34) t/venus..............NOK 3# Structures begin differing at: # $got->[47] = ' <center>' # $expected->[47] = ' <address>' # Looks like you failed 1 test of 3. t/venus..............dubious Test returned status 1 (wstat 256, 0x100) DIED. FAILED test 3 Note that I installed libtidy using the latest source, dated 26 October, 2005. Any suggestions? It looks like HTML::Tidy is expecting a different structure than the latest libtidy is providing - Should I use an older version of the libtidy source? Thanks, -John
HTML::Tidy now relies on libtidyp. This is no longer an issue.
