The source tarball is 3.0MB, 2.5MB of which comes from test_packages/
containing large books. The larger books have already been segregated out.
I suppose the tests should skip if the packages are missing, but it
might be a simple matter of moving these tests (and packages) to an
svn:externals directory in t/ (e.g. t/big), then adding that to
MANIFEST.SKIP.
