Hi! I found some bugs in Linux-KernelSort and fixed them (see patches 01, 02). I also added some more flexibilty to Linux::KernelSort to be able to sort versions with 4 digit values (like 2.6.18.2) and handle a leading 'v' correctly (e.g. when using tags). Please apply :) Nearby I created an ITP bug at Debian for this package. (See http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=401940) Thanks Ciao Max -- Follow the white penguin.

Hi again! Here are two addition patches allowing version strings to contain a trailig '-tree' (e.g when using git) and some further fixup for the documentation in the perl module. At http://files.rfc2324.org/Linux-KernelSort/ you´ll find an updated and complete patchset. Ciao Max -- Follow the white penguin.

Hi again :) The patch #06 was obviously done in the wrong "direction". It´s late... So here´s the correct version. Ciao Max -- Follow the white penguin.
