Hello
(I registered with Bitcard so I could log into rt.cpan.org but I can't seem to
actually log in, so here is an email submission...)
I have just installed Mail::Toaster 5.03 on Mac OS X 10.4.8 - it looks bloody
wonderful. I'm already running qmail, vpopmail, chkusr, courier etc on FreeBSD
but it's years old and this might help me build a new system to migrate to one
day.
Anyhow, I'm stuck fairly early on in the proceedings. The install instructions
say to run:
toaster_setup.pl -s pre
(from http://www.tnpi.biz/internet/mail/toaster/install/programs.shtml )
But there seems to be a problem with the port_install function, as I get the
following error:
noisy:~ root# toaster_setup.pl -s pre
The following parameter was passed in the call to
Mail::Toaster::Darwin::port_install but was not listed in the validation
options: port
at /Library/Perl/5.8.6/Mail/Toaster/Darwin.pm line 35
Mail::Toaster::Darwin::port_install('undef', 'port', 'p5-net-dns',
'debug', 0) called at /Library/Perl/5.8.6/Mail/Toaster/Setup.pm line 1543
Mail::Toaster::Setup::cpan('undef', 'debug', 0) called at
/Library/Perl/5.8.6/Mail/Toaster/Setup.pm line 1852
Mail::Toaster::Setup::dependencies('undef') called at
/usr/local/sbin/toaster_setup.pl line 83
Looking at the source of Darwin.pm it seems that the
"Mail::Toaster::Darwin::port_install('undef', 'port', 'p5-net-dns'..." line is
putting in one too many parameters, perhaps that first 'undef' should be
removed? I'm not really sure.
Thank you
Jesse
