Subject: Astro::FITS::Header::CFITSIO & ENDless headers
Alasdair, This is a follow up to the private email I sent you (sorry about not being consistent in the use of the Perl bug tracker). I've attached a patch to 2.6.1 which fixes the END-less header problem by 1) explicitly adding an END card in configure; 2) fixing the bug in writehdr which causes the first card to be deleted in the header if there is no END card. In the process of tracking down the bug I rewrote bits of writehdr which I believe result in cleaner code. I also fixed a buglet in a test which caused an "undefined value" error. Thanks, Diab
