bumped into problem playing with BeerDB example application: i used a cyrillic text in the name of brewery. in the list of breweries it is displayed ok, but in the Brewery combo on beer list page the cyrillic is garbled. my firefox encoding was UTF-8 my perl version is 5.8.7 the screenshot and html page are in attachment heres also a reply from Matt S Trout (dbix-class@trout.me.uk): Known HTML::Element bug, also affects HTML::Widget, there was a big thread on this on the Catalyst list not so long back.

This is flagged as an issue that needs to be looked at before 2.12 release, no fix yet but is probably the next issue I plan to look and put a fix into SVN.
