Hello I use IMAPClient version 2.2.9 and Perl version 5.8.8 in a Linux environment. The IMAP server runs a MS Exchange 2003 SP1. Lines in mails that are begining with an number followed by whitspaces and the string "Bad" are causing the entire mail to be pushed in the $@ variable and the LastError function. I think the bug is in line 1368 and the following. I attached an exampe script which fetches an special prepared mail and then prints out the result of the LastError funtion. The output will be the entire mail, which I attached too. Best regards Arne Roolfs Show quoted text

I do not really see a good solution for your problem, except simply banning Exchange (and other): they produce incorrect sizes. In this case, it is a choice between two bads ;-) If you have found a better solutions, let me know.
I have removed the option to detect closing strings in the body. Hopefully it helps.
