Hi.
tjh@oeb-isg-webdev:~/perl-demo/xml$ perl -V
Summary of my perl5 (revision 5 version 8 subversion 7) configuration:
Platform:
osname=linux, osvers=2.6.10, archname=i486-linux-gnu-thread-multi
uname='linux rothera 2.6.10 #1 smp fri may 13 09:24:22 utc 2005 i686
gnulinux '
(Ubuntu 6.06 server)
Installing XML::RDB 1.1 from CPAN works, but the config file provided
causes code failure.
* You parse the config file splitting on '=' but have used '=>' as
the separator this causes '>' to be prepended to any value;
* You take the RHS of the '=' as the value, but are quoting with '.
These quotes get included in the value, as do the semi-colons (;) at the
end of lines;
Fixing the config file causes the code to work.
Cheers,
Tim.
