Subject: Core dump and total test failures in glue
Trying to compile and test libapreq-2.08 under SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 10.0 (SLES-10): Linux hostname 2.6.16.21-0.15-smp #1 SMP Tue Jul 25 15:28:49 UTC 2006 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux All tests fail under ./glue/perl and core dump(s) generated (backtrace attached). Partial error log attached as well (lots more where that came from). I have installed the following packages from the SLES-10 distro: Perl v5.8.8 Apache 2.2.0 (running prefork) mod_perl 2.0.2 libapr (and devel) 1.2.2 libaprutil (and devel) 1.2.2 Further details upon request... I'm going to try compiling my own mod_perl and rebuilding libapreq2 as a next step. John

Installing mod_perl 2.0.2 from source and retrying libapreq2 yielded much better results (no core dumps): Failed Test Stat Wstat Total Fail Failed List of Failed ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- t/apreq/cgi.t 41 10 24.39% 32-41 t/apreq/upload.t 20 20 100.00% 1-20 Failed 2/10 test scripts, 80.00% okay. 30/191 subtests failed, 84.29% okay. which seems to me is the same failures I have been getting for a while (and which don't prevent me from installing and using libapreq2 with Mason). If it helps, the verbose test log is attached (gzipped). John

Hi. I've been going through the archives of unresolved Apache2::Request bugs. Are you still able to reproduce this? If not, I'll close this issue as stale. On Mon Oct 09 11:07:29 2006, JPEACOCK wrote: Show quoted text

-- ----- Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean ? It's a mystery, just as is mankind. --Unknown
