Subject: SSL test scripts still running after install
Date: Fri, 06 Oct 2006 15:09:14 -0700
To: bug-IO-Socket-SSL [...] rt.cpan.org
From: Darin Arrick <darin [...] intrigomedia.com>
It seems that the two SSL test scripts that run (sorry, didn't copy down the exact names, but they had to do with the SSL "loopback"-style test, I assume) didn't shut down after the install was done. What I have remaining is: 3359 pts/0 S 0:00 sh -c /usr/bin/perl -Iblib/lib -Iblib/arch -I/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/i386-linux-thread-multi -I/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.7/i386-linux-thread 3360 pts/0 S 0:00 /usr/bin/perl -Iblib/lib -Iblib/arch -I/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/i386-linux-thread-multi -I/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.7/i386-linux-thread-multi Yes, the descriptions are cut off. They were MUCH longer, but they're out of my term buffer and I killed them already. Just FYI. Thanks, Darin Arrick

sorry, I can't really extract anything useful from this information, it's not even visible, that it has anything to do with IO::Socket::SSL at all. I guess you mean, that there were processes running after the 'make test' was done. Please try the 'make test' again and if you can reproduce the problem please give me information about: - which OS you are running - which perl version you use - which version of IO::Socket::SSL you tried to install - output from 'make test' If you cannot reproduce the problem: - are you sure that you installed only IO::Socket::SSL, e.g. that it did not install the dependencies like Net::SSLeay? So maybe this isn't an IO::Socket::SSL problem at all? On Fr. 06. Okt. 2006, 18:09:50, darin@intrigomedia.com wrote: Show quoted text
