The listing for provinces within Canada is a tad out of date, and is
missing the following updates:
1. "Nunavut", the new Canadian Territory, has a symbol of "NU".
1. "Newfoundland/NF" was changed to "Newfoundland and Labrador/NL"
back in 2001.
I've attached a patch to this ticket which:
1. Adds "Nunavut/NU"
2. Changes "Newfoundland/NF" to "Newfoundland/NL", and preserves the
old version similarly to how "Quebec/PQ" is (legacy, non-strict).
I don't, however, have an update to provide handling
for "Newfoundland" and "Newfoundland and Labrador"; although the
layout here lends itself towards having multiple abbreviations, it
doesn't work the same for multiple full names.
