I installed perl 5.8.8 to test POE. This is perl, v5.8.8 built for darwin-thread-multi-2level Darwin poerbook.local 8.8.0 Darwin Kernel Version 8.8.0: ... Testing with only the libraries that come with 5.8.8. All tests successful, 85 tests and 64 subtests skipped. Files=179, Tests=3873, 332 wallclock secs (...) After installing: Term::ReadKey HTTP::Request IO::Pty Curses (Event failed) Socket6 Test::Pod Test::Pod::Coverage Testing: All tests successful, 76 tests and 39 subtests skipped. Files=179, Tests=4104, 340 wallclock secs (...) Conclusion: I can't reproduce this! Aaargh!
I can't reproduce the problem, even on OSX using the same version of Perl.
