Oh, heck. I played around on my laptop getting rid of things to free up some disk space. I figured I wasn't using darwin-ports so I trashed that. Oops. I had that there in the first place to have a GNU tar that wouldn't copy those annoying files (and Mac OS X's gnutar does). Now I have a real tar again and I'll upload the distro again.

hi Alexander, Thanks for the report. I've created a new distro and looked at it on a non Mac system to ensure it came out right. In case you don't know, those annoying files are the Mac extended attributes. Through a little mix-up, I used the Mac tar instead of the GNU tar, so they ended up where they shouldn't have.
